“Nashville To New York” Songwriters Show is back at The Cutting Room on July 12, 2016

Gary and I are back in New York City on July 12, 2016 to host “Nashville To New York” at The Cutting Room.  Join us for another memorable evening of original song, story and humor as we welcome special guests Tony Arata and Dennis Matkosky to the stage.

Tony Arata was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2012.  His songs have been recorded by Bonnie Raitt, Emmylou Harris, Reba McEntire, Trisha Yearwood, Suzy Bogguss, and Randy Travis, among others.  Garth Brooks has recorded eight of Tony’s songs, including the #1 hit The Dance.

Dennis Matkosky is a Grammy winning songwriter and producer whose work is heard in movies including FlashdanceSummer LoversFright NightNight and the City and Days of Thunder.  He has written both pop and country music hits, including LeAnn Rimes’ I Need You, a song that remained in the Top 10 for over two years.
